Yang’s dedication to project innovation and practicality has enabled him to complete many successful commercial, residential, and institutional projects in China and Canada.
After more than 20 years of hard work, Yang Li has gained impressive experience and achievements. His projects include the Dalian International Trade Centre (370m, 86 stories, #55 tallest in the world), Dalian International Conference Center (Iconic Project of the architect Coop Himmelb(l)au) and several landmark projects in China and Canada. Yang has extensive design experience in Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver areas where he has completed projects in various sectors, including commercial, residential, office, institutional, and heritage. These projects include the New Horizon Mall, the ATCO Commercial Center, the Edward, the 5th AVE High-Rise Affordable Housing, and the Bethany Riverview Seniors Care.
Yang Li completed his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2001 and Masters of Structural Engineering in 2006.
He is a P.Eng. registered in APEGA and a Class 1 Structural Engineer registered in China.
